Efficiently treat and recycle wash water from heavy equipment cleaning using ElectroPulse Electrocoagulation Technology. This chemical-free solution eliminates the need for filters and effectively removes:
Reduce Waste. Save Water. Stay Compliant.
ElectroPulse offers a cost-effective way to treat contaminated wash water. The treated water can be reused for equipment washing or safely discharged in compliance with environmental regulations.
Electrocoagulation Technology for Heavy Equipment and Fleet Wash Water Recycling
The ElectroPulse Electrocoagulation System, manufactured by OilTrap Environmental Inc., delivers a powerful, chemical-free method to treat wash water from cleaning heavy-duty equipment. This innovative electrical-based solution eliminates the need for filters, separation chemicals, or settling tanks—offering a low-maintenance and cost-effective alternative to traditional filtration methods.
Proven to remove emulsified oils, greases, suspended solids, and heavy metals, ElectroPulse is ideal for truck wash operations, construction equipment yards, and industrial wash bays. Operating costs are as low as ½ cent per gallon or $5.00 per 1,000 gallons of water treated.
Easy to Operate & Maintain
Advanced Electrocoagulation Systems with Touchscreen Control
All-New System Designs. Built for Performance.
With over 23 years of industry innovation, OilTrap Environmental Products, Inc. introduces the most advanced electrocoagulation water treatment systems to date. Engineered for industrial wash water recycling, these next-generation systems feature streamlined designs and cutting-edge technology for unmatched ease of use and maintenance.
Each system now includes a 10” touchscreen interface for intuitive control and real-time diagnostics. These large, easy-to-read screens simplify operations, allowing you to monitor your entire OilTrap water treatment process with minimal training.
Quick setup. Smart automation. Enhanced reliability.
Every unit is built with OilTrap’s signature design features:
Proprietary Electro-Cells – Zero Maintenance
Our OilTrap Signature Electro-Cells require no scaling, scraping, or cleaning—ensuring consistent performance without downtime.
Cone Bottom Tanks – Simplified Drainage
Designed for easy washout and winterization, cone bottom tanks eliminate the hassle of vacuuming flat-bottom tanks.
Easy-to-Use Operator Interface
Activate the system with a single on/off button. The integrated 10″ touchscreen requires less than 5 minutes of training and handles operations automatically.
Compact, Custom-Built Power Supplies
Engineered by OilTrap for electrocoagulation efficiency, our power supplies are compact and powerful—offering twice the performance in a footprint one-quarter the size.
Built for Durability & Simplicity
Advanced Water Treatment Capabilities
Proudly Made in the USA
All OilTrap systems are manufactured and shipped directly from our facility in Tumwater, Washington.
Power Supplies
Engineered exclusively for electrocoagulation systems, each unit combines the power supply and cell controller into one compact module. Designed for reliability and control, it supports full PLC automation with adjustable DC voltage and amperage, ensuring accurate and efficient water treatment performance.
Touchscreen Interface
Now standard across all systems, our 12.9” touchscreen interface streamlines operations. View diagnostics, adjust settings, and receive factory support—all with a Wi-Fi connection for remote access and updates.
High-Efficiency Electro-Cells
OilTrap’s electrocoagulation cells are easy to replace (under 2 minutes), with no cleaning, scaling, or scraping. A 20″ compact cell option is now available for 3–5 GPM systems, offering modular efficiency for low-volume operations.
External Pumps
All systems feature external, corrosion-resistant pumps with ceramic and stainless impellers. Designed for easy maintenance, these pumps include quick disconnects and digital flow control.
Float Sensor Trees
Installed since 2015, float sensor assemblies can be removed as a single unit with a waterproof connector. This design simplifies servicing and ensures accurate water level detection.
Sludge Manangement Made Simple
Enhance your wash bay with high-capacity sludge bags designed for easy handling and minimal disruption. Each bag weighs approximately 30 lbs, can be changed while the system is running, and is easily removed with one hand. The design prevents overspray and supports continuous, mess-free operation.
Cone Bottom Tanks
All new systems come equipped with cone bottom tanks that ensure fast, efficient drainage and simplified winterization. A single-valve cleanout and air-actuated valves handle periodic sludge buildup automatically. With only level sensors inside the tank, there’s no internal equipment to maintain—eliminating the mess and maintenance hassles of outdated flat-bottom designs.
Integrated Separators
Designed for clean operation and easy upkeep, each separator includes a quick-swap sweep assembly that can be replaced in under five minutes. With simple water level adjustment and a cone bottom tank for efficient sludge removal, these units deliver reliable separation and minimal maintenance downtime.
